I would like to thank you and your staff for the great services you have given me over the many years we have worked on my hearing problems.
You have taken extra time to find the right aids to correct my hearing problem. You have even worked on trying to design an ear piece that would fit my ears.
I can’t say enough about the friendly staff that you have had over the years. They have always made me feel comfortable and relaxed when I have come in.
I have willingly referred many of my friends to you with no regrets.
Thank you for the pleasure of allowing my wife and I to be able to enjoy watching television in the same room.
Thank you,
David Goglio
I am extremely pleased with the care I have been given at the Center for Better Hearing Aids and I have been seeing them for over 5 years! When I need services, they are there to help me in any way possible. When it comes to having hearing difficulties, Judy takes special care in getting what I need. My hearing has changed rapidly and it has been difficult at time to know what to do. Judy always seems to know and always cares. I highly recommend the Center for Better Hearing Aids for the care and concern.

I wanted to drop you a line to let you know how pleased I am with the help you have me. I can finally hear the conversations I’m in instead of just smiling and nodding my head like I understand. I can now have a conversation with my wife and listen to the TV without blasting everyone else out of the room.
You really pinpointed my problem areas in my hearing and I am now leading a more enjoyable time at home and our days are without the “What?” “Huh?” she used to get all the time.
Once again, I thank you and I’m so pleased I found you.
Sincerely,
Ron Cook

I have been a client of CBHA since before 1996. I have a hearing problem dating back to 1985; in the intervening years, I have worn many different manufacturers’ devices. All helped, but none were really satisfactory; I have (I now know) recruitment at 3000 Hz; small increases of loudness around that frequency sound MUCH louder than they really are. Children’s voices (especially screams) as well as sharp noises, like dishes, silverware, slamming cupboard doors, etc. were literally painful at times.
I moved to San Jose in 1994. Ultimately, Kaiser tested my hearing in 1995. I then set out to interview many hearing aid dispensers; not only was I interested in learning about the vast numbers of hearing aids available, but just as important, if not more so, I wanted to interview the dispenser’s owner and his/her personality. Prices, while important, were less so than the overall impression .Judy Pick and her Center for Better Hearing Aids were clearly the more impressive to me. She was not a “glib” salesperson, but understood what she was selling, the limitations, and seemed truly interested in my needs.
I had her fit new aids to my current tests. They worked very well, but the industries technology was clearly was of that time. They were technically, state of the art, but still tiny instruments. I visited CBHA as needed for cleaning, adjustments, and batteries.A few years later technology had progressed to fully digital instruments that were capable of many more adjustments; of especial note they were multi-band and thum my recruitment problem could be addressed better. The clarity of the sound was like a modern CD.
Time went on further, and my general hearing was further decreasing due to my age; I am now 79. The technology now is another quantum improvement; I recently had Judy fit me with Phonak Naidas; the specific units were her suggestion based on my needs – I am an avid bicyclist, thus wind noise is an issue, I’m out in traffic on my bicycle, traffic noise is an issue. I bicycle hard, so perspiration is of concern – all these concerns and more while trying to converse while bicycling.
I am a music lover, but always hated the human voice and especially opera, which was literally painful. I am now an opera subscriber and sit close to the stage and orchestra. At the Symphony I sit much further away, but can still hear the Triangle and highest notes on the piano when played.
To sum things up, I am very pleased with the entire experience with CBHA!

I wanted to thank all of you for helping me get my hearing aid. Thanks to all of you, I can finally hear and speak in a softer voice. I don’t have to yell to hear myself any more! Now I can find work and hear what people are saying to me. I never thought I could be helped by people who were so kind and cared. The staff, from the very first person to the last person I spoke with, were clearly the best in their field.
Words cannot express how I feel. Today, I will go to the Center for Better Hearing Aids and be checked to see how I’m doing. I will bring this small note to them to let all of them know how grateful I am for all of their help. Some day maybe, I can return the favor. God bless these wonderful people.

I’m now wearing a 1200 Destiny in my left ear. I can now hear in those meetings! I used to dread talking on the telephone, but this is now a pleasure. One of the great technological improvements of this instrument is the almost total elimination of “feedback” that I and others suffered through all those years.
To say that I am happy with my aid plus your service, would be an understatement. Many thanks to you!

Twenty years ago, I was fully aware that I had developed a problem with my hearing. I researching hearing dispensers and decided to visit Judy Pick at the Center for Better Hearing Aids. It was a great experience. She was the first lady I visited, and the last. I have purchased my 1st, 2nd, and my brand new 3rd pair of aids from her.
Judy and the staff at the Center for Better Hearing Aids are always so kind. I always very much enjoy my visits! I have even referred the Center for Better Hearing Aids to my older sister!
Thanks!

I have been coming to the Center for Better Hearing Aids for my hearing needs for 6 plus years. I met Judy at a basketball game! She was looking through a hearing aid magazine while watching the game, and I struck conversation regarding her services.
I hadn’t had hearing instruments since I was a child. Judy fitted me with my first “adult” pair and they have been great! I am hearing so much better. The best part about my wearing my hearing aids… people have stopped yelling at me!
I really enjoy coming into the office. The staff is very professional but still friendly and helpful. One of the things I appreciate most is when I come in and my hearing aids are off and/or aren’t working, Judy and her staff try so hard to clearly enunciate words to ensure I understand what they are saying to me.
I have truly enjoyed my experiences at the Center for Better Hearing Aids, with Judy, and her staff!

Every time I walk into the Center for Better Hearing Aids, I am shocked that the office staff remembers who I am! That is such an inviting and comforting feeling.
Meeting with Lyndsey has been my pleasure. She is smart, informative, and very kind.
I have been totally satisfied with my experience at the Center for Better Hearing Aids. I should have been fitted with hearing instruments a long time ago. But, its never to late and I love them!

In 1996, I worked for Siemens and was informed that I could get hearing aids from the Center for Better Hearing Aids. I have fully enjoyed my experience every since.
The office staff is outstanding. It is always a joy to come into the office. I don’t have enough kind words for Judy. She is friendly, outgoing, and knows all the necessary information about the latest hearing technology. I fully trust her with my hearing needs.

I am happy to have this opportunity to tell you about a lovely lady and talented professional named Judy Pick. Because you are reading this document, you already have taken the first step in putting yourself in her competent hands. You have chosen wisely.
I was wounded during my army tour. The army surgeons could dig the shrapnel out of my body and could sew up the holes, but they could not repair the damage to my hearing caused by the nearby bomb explosions. They warned me that my hearing was poor and would deteriorate further with time. They predicted that I would be deaf by the time I was 40 years old, so they urged me to start learning sign language. That is a chilling prognosis for any young man or woman.
When I had concluded my army tour, the senior army doctor recommended that I contact a specialist in the Stanford Medical Center whose research was producing helpful results for people with my damage. The Stanford doctor’s treatments and the continuing improvements in hearing aids kept ahead of my failing hearing, so I was able to function quite successfully in my career. After some years, the good doctor and his team left Stanford and changed their focus to address deafness in small children. It was a splendid and generous career decision on their part. I was very proud of them for the sacrifices that they made in following this dream. They made it clear that I was welcome as a continuing patient, but travel to their new offices was tedious for me.
Quite by accident, I met Judy Pick in the Denver airport about this time. She was headed to a national audiology conference in Denver, and I was headed to the Denver branch office of my company for a business meeting that was unrelated to audiology. As Judy and I were leaving the airplane, she saw that I had aids in both ears, so she asked if I would be attending the conference. We chatted as we walked through the terminal, and I decided that she was a better choice to handle my hearing problems that was the Stanford doctor who had become distracted by the deaf children that he so lovingly treated.
Since that time, I have become increasingly impressed by the thoughtful, competent, and caring manner in which Judy has improved my hearing abilities. She is a joy, both personally and professionally, and I feel so fortunate that I have come under her care. The team that Judy has assembled in her office, echo her good nature and competence, so it always is a pleasure to visit them.
You have to come to this office because of an aggravating medical problem that hinders your communication ability and injects stress into your life. I know first-hand that damaged hearing is a terrible burden to bear. Do not waste any more time in correcting it. Give your trust to Judy so she can provide solutions that restore pleasure you once had when you chatted with your family and friends.

I absolutely adore Lyndsey. She's so good to me every time I'm in the office! The front office staff is always a pleasure to see and to chat with when I come in. Keep up the good work!
